Motorcycle and ATV Tachometers
The
tachometer measures your vehicle's RPM (revolutions of your vehicle's crankshaft per minute). It's important to know the RPM because the rotation speed should be safe for the driving conditions. If you read the pointer on the face it should indicate the safe and danger zones so you know when you should shift gears. If you don't shift gears you might overheat the system and use up the coolant. Without proper lubrication the engine parts will wear. Even if you are familiar with motorcycle or ATV equipment and replacement parts you're still going to want to take your time deciding what matches best because there is an array of new options and a lot of older vehicle parts are no longer being manufactured.
