MP3 Player Chargers
By today's standard, you are not considered cool unless you own some kind of
car outlet chargers available to make sure your tunes can be played even if your MP3 player is dead.
Wall Outlet Chargers
In most MP3 players, you do not get a wall charger that comes with the MP3 player, instead you just get a
USB cable that can charge the player as well. But, if you do not have a computer available to you all the time, a wall charger will probably be helpful. There are a lot of wall chargers available to you. Most are exactly the same while others have extra features specific to the player that you are using. Also, it is important that you buy a wall charger that is compatible with your player. Even though they might do the same thing, each one does work differently and using one that isn't compatible can damage your MP3 player.
* In this case, you can spend as much as you want on wall chargers. You do not want to go and spend $50 on something that can do the same job for $10. So look around before you make a purchase.
* Wall chargers are very useful in the since that you only have to connect your USB cable to the charger making it usable with many players.
* Companies like
Griffin often sell wall chargers for less then companies like Apple does.
* Many wall chargers also come in value packs that also have
extra cables, and
headphones.
* Separate wall chargers can be
bundles with an MP3 player when you buy it new from the store. This is great deal if the player does not come with one normally.
Car and Travel Chargers
Whether it be on an airplane, or in the car, your MP3 player can die on you while you travel. In most cases, MP3 players do not come with a
travel charger. Thankfully, many 3 party brands make travel chargers for MP3 players. Most of the time, the charger is put into a cigarette lighter or a/c adapter in a plane, bus, or car. One thing to keep in mind though is that most travel chargers are specific to the MP3 player. So this time, you will need to look a little closer to find one that will work.
* Most Travel chargers fit into a A/C adapter in the vehicle you are in. This makes them
universal and worth the investment if you are the traveling type.
* In some case, travel chargers are not universal and are instead specific to a certain MP3 players like the
Sandisk Sansa.
* Some
FM transmitters also include a car charger.
* On some travel chargers, you can charge up to two MP3 players.
* Like wall chargers, travel chargers can be bundled with an MP3 player if you buy it from the store.
