APS Cameras Buying Guide, Stores, and Prices

APS Cameras

APS Cameras  --with 'APS' being short for 'Advances Photo System '--could be considered the predecessor to the current digital camera . It is pretty much the first camera which was able to record not only the image, but the date and time in which it was taken. The film used for an APS camera  is polyethylene naphthalate (PEN) based. While it is an advanced photo system which often has automatic focusing and features for sharper imagery, it still contains a film cartridge  inside which capable of automatic rewind.

When APS cameras  first came onto the market, the idea was that they would really give the 35mm camera  a run for its money. The 24mm film  was supposed to make for the most user-friendly and utterly fool-proof type of camera available. All you do is drop the film  in, close the lid, and bam! It's loaded without fail. No screwing up the film loading and losing a whole roll of film  that you thought you were shooting. Plus, APS film  enables you to switch between regular 4x6 ratio shooting and the once-coveted panorama shots.
