If you don't like the shape of the tip, then put it in the freezer for a few minutes before you use it so it will hold it's shape better. When applying your mechanical eyeliner, you want it's temperature to be soft enough that the color will glide on easily, but not so such slight pressure will make it gunk, get mushy, or crumble off.
