A comedy-drama series, "Desperate Housewives" is produced by ABC Studios and Cherry Productions. The show is about the lives of four women narrated by the deceased Mary Alice Young. While it all seems beautiful and perfect on the outside, the show reveals the drama of suburban life, either gruesome or hilarious. "Desperate Housewives" premiered in October 2004 and will begin its 7th season this upcoming fall 2010. The show has agreeable critiques and a large audience. It has won Emmy, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild awards.
