Xbox 360 Games Guide

Launching in October of 2005, the Xbox 360 had a year to gain some early ground on its competitors from Sony and Nintendo, the PlayStation 3 and the Wii, respectively, which became available at the end of 2006. In four years on the market, developers have had a chance to get very acquainted with the Xbox 360 hardware, which allows for the production of some great-looking high definition games, as well as a slew of other cool features. Majesty 2 

This sequel is a unique mix of the action of a real-time strategy and the depth of a role-playing game.  You build and control your own kingdom, with dwarfs, humans, elves, trolls, and everything in between.  There are also various heros you can build that will protect your kingdom and become powerful lords of your empire.  There are endless possibilities to how you can customize your empire.

Darksiders: Wrath of War 

You play the role of War, one of the Four Horsemen of the apocalypse, who has been betrayed by his master and must embark on a quest of vengeance.  To do this you must fight through a massive, demon ravaged Post-Apocalyptic world to get your revenge.  Luckily, War is equipped with a massive arsenal of weapons, attacks, and is joined by his trusty steed, Ruin.

Red Dead Redemption 

The sequel to the 2004 hit, Red Dead Revolver Redemption tells the story of former outlaw John Marston, and his adventures in the American frontier. Developed by Rockstar games, expect many gameplay similarities to their hugely popular Grand Theft Auto series, but set in the lawless western badlands of late 19th century America.

Mafia 2 

Mafia 2 will immerse you in the seedy underworld of the 1940's mobster scene. You play Vito, who just returned home from WW2 and quickly gets into trouble with the law.  To survive, you must explore the giant living, breathing city and partake in car chases, gunfights, and colorful assortment of mob jobs.

Bayonetta 

Fight through various stages of enemies playing as the witch, Bayonetta, who shape shifts and has several weapons at her disposal. The action is complex, dynamic and even artistic. Bayonetta uses her balletic grace to perform special combos and finishing moves to eliminate the myriad of angelic enemies.

R.U.S.E. 

This real-time strategy game is set during World War II and allows you to travel around the different battlegrounds of that time: North Africa, Italy, Holland, France, Germany, and so on.  Users will aim to trick their opponents through various spy techniques.  Get a sense of history and work your logical skills at the same time!

Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing 

Just can't get enough of Sonic and Tails?  Dying for some new AiAi adventures?  Looking to play around as Alex Kidd?  Well, you're in luck!  With this go-kart racing game, you'll get to play as all of your favorite Sega characters, and play against those ones you don't like so well (Doctor Eggman, we're looking at you).

WET 

A mercenary named Rubi is double crossed on what she believes will be a simple mission, and she takes it upon herself to track down her attempted killer in this heavily stylized action shooter.

NBA 2K10 

The newest version of 2K's b-ball franchise promises to be the best yet, bringing back all the great gameplay of the series with big improvements to offensive and defensive "shut down" controls.

As a member of Section 8, the unit of risk-taking warriors, you'll have a completely customizable armor suit and tactical battlefield control in this futuristic first-person shooting title.

Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City 

Episodes from Liberty City is a disc-based version of the two expansions to GTA IV, The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony. It's also standalone, so you won't need GTA IV to play.
