Women's Summer Style Guide

When it comes to summer, you've got to think like a boyscout: always be prepared. You never know when the weather can change on you, or where your day might go. Luckily, most summer looks can be pulled off without too much work and can be easily modified depending on the situation.  A great day outfit can turn to a night outfit with a few accessory changes, and the accessories for summer are always fun.  There are a variety of summer basics that you should have: shorts,  sandals,  tanks,  tees,  blouses,  sunglasses,  and the ever-essential oversize bag  which works for everyday as well as the beach.  Most looks can be worn to work or to a summer BBQ; it just depends on how you wear it.  And remember, even if it's hot out, you will probably need some sort of light jacket for sudden A/C exposure, or for a spontaneous evening stroll. 

With so many colorful, bold, and fun styles available for summer, just shop within your budget, see what you like, and have fun with the great mixing and matching. Bringing along a compass and Swiss Army knife might not hurt either...you never know what you need to be prepared for.

Summer Classics

The White Shirt  Silhouettes range from flowing to fitted. Look for accents like ribbon and embroidery. Invest in a great white or nude bra to wear under these shirts.	Sandals  Look for fun designs and colors that will go with certain outfits. They can go with anything, and can dress up or down any outfit.	Sundresses  Top colors: pink, lavender and brown. Feminine accents remain important. Gold detail is a great way to show off a healthy tan.	Floral Skirt  Most flattering at knee length or slightly higher. Flirty, fun, and easy to match with a solid top. Remember not to go too short!
