Vodka

Feeling a little Russian today? Looking for a clean, pure, strong vodka Good thing you're here. Vodkas can be deceptive in the fact they may be better marketed than they deserve (on occasion, at least).  For example, Grey Goose  is typically the vodka in American bars; however, many vodka drinkers claim it's nowhere near the best. Here are some other options to consider.

Cheap Vodkas

  • Smirnoff : Usually ranked in the top 5 vodkas, Smirnoff goes down smooth. But lucky for us, it's also one of the cheapest!
  • Finlandia : A common Vodka with a bit of a bite.
  • Stolichnaya : A true Russian Vodka with a reasonable price tag. For non-vodka drinkers, this one may burn at first.

Moderately Priced

  • Absolut : A Swedish vodka for a moderate budget.
  • Reyka : Imported from Iceland.

Premium Vodkas with Premium Prices

  • Belvedere : Here is a vodka for the vodka connoisseur. It's premium quality and usually a little bit cheaper than Grey Goose.
  • 360 Vodka : American made.
  • Ketel One Vodka : From the Netherlands, for your tasting pleasure.
  • Grey Goose : This is an expensive one, but people seem to love the unique taste.

How to Drink

Vodka is best taken straight or with mixers. Orange juice and most fruit juices make for a quick and easy mixed drink (for example, a Screwdriver is just 1.5 ounces of vodka and 5 of orange juice). However, if you really enjoy a good vodka, go ahead and shoot it straight. Or learn some crazy Russian Vodka Tricks and amaze everyone at the bar. For best results grab a good, trusty shot glass Enjoy!
