Vacuum Coffee Machines

Want to have that perfect cup of coffee, but don't want to deal with buying pyrex containers separated by an airtight stopper, which contains a tube and a filter. The water is placed in the lower container while the upper container contains the coffee grounds and the filter. As the liquid water beings to boil in the bottom container, it is converted to water vapor. The expansion of this water vapor increases pressure within the container, forcing the remaining liquid water through the tube into the upper container where the coffee grounds are. Once all of the water has relocated to the upper container, the mixture is left to mingle for a few minutes. Then, the vacuum coffee machine is removed from the heat; as the bottom container cools, the pressure in there is reduced, creating a vacuum (hence the name). In order to equalize the pressure between the two containers, the brewed coffee is forced through the filter, then the tube and back into the bottom container. Voila! Science at work! Oh, and you get a great cup of coffee as well. So, why go through all the trouble of purchasing one of these contraptions? Well, it has been said that vacuum coffee brewing is one of the best ways to brew, creating a consistently crisp and flavorful cup of coffee due to the interplay of water, coffee and pressure. For coffee lovers, this is considered o be coffee in its cleanest form because it produces a rich cup that is free from bitterness.
