The two generals meet at the stream slices through the table, its waters acrid and dark green from the inhumane weaponry used in the previous skirmishes.
The first general deploys her army on one side of the table. She opens her alien race. Light reflects off the black gloss of their chitinous outer shells and their claws drip with the blood of previous victims. They look hungry and dangerous, tiny abominations waiting to be loosed on their enemies.
