When choosing what type of brush to use for your project, you need to consider what kind of painting you'll need it for. You never want to use a natural bristle brush, made from animal hair, with oilbased exterior paints and latex paints. Polyester filament brushes can work with nearly anything because they don't absorb water or lose resiliency over time.
