We've come a long way in thermometer technology and there are a lot to choose from now. All thermometers today are digital and can give you very accurate readings. We also no longer have to go through the discomfort of putting a thermometer under our tongues. Although they're still popular, we now have other, less annoying, options to take our temperature. A thermometer is a very important item to own when you have a baby or a child so always keep one in the house and make sure you get a thermometer specially made for a baby.
Types of Thermometers
Your temperature can be measured in the mouth, ear, forehead, armpit, and rectum. Normal body temperature is around 98.6 degrees. If you or your child has a temperature above 100 degrees, that is considered a fever.
