Tea Tree Oil

Even if you have never heard of  tea tree oil , chances are you have used this ingredient in your personal or household products. This fascinating essential oil has many properties that make it beneficial to humans for a variety of reasons. The oil got its name because the leaves  were used as an alternative to tea. The leaves come from an Australian plant called Melaleuca alternifolia and the oil is gathered from a steam distillation process.
