There are tons of
adhesives out there for your workshop and home improvement needs. The problem is sorting through all of the selection to find the right stuff for the job. Picking the right tape will improve your final product and make life a lot easier.
Types of Tapes
* First we'll start off with the old workhorse,
duct tape. This tape gets its legendary strength from a woven fabric base covered by plastic backing and a strong adhesive front. It's easy to tear by hand yet water and tear resistant once it is applied to a surface. This makes it perfect for duties that require strong adhesion for a long time.

Gorilla Tape is a brand of duct tape that is advertised as twice as adhesive,more weather resistant, and stronger than original duct tape. It even sticks to uneven surfaces like stucco and brick.

Packaging tape is usually clear and easy to cut with scissors or knives. This tape is meant for sealing cardboard boxes without pulling the cardboard off of the box, so it isn't quite as adhesive as duct tape.

Electrical tape is specially designed to insulate electrical wiring.
