Table Tennis Nets

These nets are designed to clamp directly onto a table top of any brand.
Extra wide clamp openings allow these nets to fit tables with thick framing in the center area.
Universal net sets usually need to be removed before moving or storing the table.

Special or Dedicated Net and Post Sets

These are designed to fit specific roll-away style tables, and they are attached to the table frame.
They can often be left on the table during storage or roll-away position.
Typically, they offer less adjustability.

As the name implies, these are table tennis tournament approved nets.
They are 72-inches long.
They include features such as adjustable net height, a cord through the top of the net with adjustable tension, and 6-inch extension beyond the side of the table.

These sets usually lack some of the features and adjustability of tournament nets.
They use thinner, lighter bracket materials and are not suited for repeated removal and installation on the table.

Brackets

Wider net brackets can add both to the stability of the net and the table itself by more securely holding the table halves together.
Most clamps utilize a C-Clamp bracket.
I-Bolt -- Rollaway tables use these clamps universally. They attach in the thin space between tables and use a metal bolt that tightens onto a metal strip on the surface of the table.
Frame Brackets -- These brackets attach to the frame itself and not the table. They are used in some rollaway, fold-up tables and generally C-Clamps can't be used with these types of frames. They conveniently let the net remain in place when you fold up or store the table.
