What You'll Need

Liquid Eye Liner

Liquid eye liner is a MUST! Mix it up with different colors. Try red, blue, purple, whatever you want!

Eye Shadow

Because the scene look accentuates the eyes, not only is eye liner a must, but a bright and bold eye shadow is a necessity as well.

Mascara

When adding the final touches to your eyes, you'll need to finish up with blacker than black mascara.

Blush

Add a little blush to the tops of cheek your bone, creating a complete and finished look.

Glitter

Don't forget glitter! Have fun with this and put it anywhere: cheeks, eye lids, corner of eyes, lips, etc.

Foundation

Foundation is optional. You only need if you have blemishes or scars you would like to cover up.

Lip Gloss

The scene look wants to focus on the eyes, so don't draw attention to your mouth by wearing bright red lipstick! Wear a sheer, nude lip gloss instead.

Brow Defining Pencil

Great for intensifying your eyes. Use to lightly darken and shape your brows.

Eyelash Curler

It's not necessary to curl your eyelashes, but it definitely can't hurt!

All About the Eyes

Applying your makeup.

  • First off, if you have any blemishes or scars you want to cover up, take your concealer or foundation and apply it to needed areas. Make sure it's all smoothed out, you don't want to look like you're wearing any!
  • Next, start on your eyes by applying eyeliner. Start at the inside corner of your eye, use the liquid eyeliner to draw a large line across the bottom of your eyelid. Flow the line out to the other corner of your eye to create the "cat eye" look.
  • Next apply eye shadow. You'll need dark and light matching shades. For example, dark purple and light purple. Apply the darker shade around the bottom of your top eyelid, right above your eyeliner. Only cover your eyelid, don't go any higher. Next take the lighter shade and finish out the rest of your eye area.
  • Finish up your eyes by adding mascara (lots of it), glitter, and curling your eyelashes.
  • Last but certainly not least, the lips. A sheer or nude lip gloss is perfect for the scene look. It gives your lips that shine without taking too much attention away from your eyes.

Wash It Off

Make sure at the end of the day, you take off all of your makeup! Makeup left on too long can create pimples, blackheads, and irritations.
