The cereal bowl are two quintessential items that don't always get as much thought. Many times they are confused for one another. The soup bowl, or rim plate, is shallow and can even look more like a plate than a bowl. Cereal bowls are always deeper but many times a collection won't even have a separate bowl. It is a insult to all cereals to put them in a soup bowl and vice versa. While just about every Rosenthal collection has a soup bowl, many neglect the poor cereal bowl. It's understandable that formal dining collections won't have it but casual ones will.
Studio Line
Contemporary meets ultra chic. Most of these Studio Line collections are casual yet they offer a modern twist. These bowls don't need fancy designs and patterns to be beautiful. Landscape offers a fruit dish. I don't think your cereal will mind.
Rosenthal Meets Versace
Style and fashion collide with formal dinnerware in the one arm bowl. All this beauty will come at a price though. The basic dishes are around $100 a piece.
