Musical Style
There is no real way to categorize Radiohead's musical journey; for instance, the albums ''Amnesiac'' (2001), ''Hail to the Thief'' (2003), and ''In Rainbows'' (2007) move from electronica to alternative rock to a blend of the two. The band has a style that is constantly evolving; in fact, there is a conscious effort to take each release in a different direction, while somehow still maintaining the band's signature flair throughout. Even their first album ''Pablo Honey'' has been described by the members themselves as not entirely reflecting their underlying musical pattern.
Later in Radiohead's career, one can hear how the band was unique in their instrumental style, specifically with their albums ''Kid A'', ''Amnesiac'', and ''OK Computer''all of which fuse electronica and experimental instrumentals with alternative rock.
