Fixture Types Used in Picture and Display Lighting
* Fluorescent lights: Electricity consumption is less when compared to the incandescent bulbs. They were valued also for their tubular, long design which cast even distribution of light on the display items. But the UV light radiated from them is harmful to some paints, fabrics and dyes.
* Flex lights: Normally used for illuminating displays which are not kept inside a case. They can be attached to the booths and walls quickly and also can be angled towards merchandise, banners and marketing materials creating a spot light effect.
*halogen lamps. But proper dimmers and glare shielding should be wired to control heat and brightness.
* Linear LED Lighting Strips: Advantages of all other fixture types of display lighting are combined in it and they also provide some extra advantages that cannot be found in other sources of light. Concealing, low power consumption and brilliant radiation are all combined in this trend.
