Organic Baby Food

Welcome to the Organic Baby Food  Buying Guide! Organic baby food sales have skyrocketed in the past few years, giving health conscious and eco-friendly parents an option for pesticide and hormone-free foods. Unfortunately, the organic buying process can be a bit tricky the first time because there are so many different types and brands of baby food But that's why we're here to help you narrow it down!

Before making any decisions, consider what you want in your baby's food. Do you like frozen options Jarred vegetables Does your child love a certain type of food and despise others? Keep all of that in mind when making any purchases!

Homemade Food

Making your own baby food can be a challenging process at first, but once you get used to making it, the buying process becomes much easier! Grab a food processor electric blender  and your favorite organic fruits  and veggies  before starting. Cook the vegetables until soft (but don't overcook them or else the nutrients will start to cook out!). Puree the vegetables after they are cooked; during this step make sure to add some sort of liquid such as water orbaby formula When finished you can serve up your organic food and freeze the rest in ice cube trays  or small baggies.

Frozen Food

While many companies claim that frozen food  is more nutrient-rich than jarred food, there is no concrete evidence either way. However, many parents choose frozen food because it looks and tastes more like "real food" rather than mashed goo. Keep in mind that you do pay a bit extra for the fresh look. Some of the more popular brands are listed below.

Bella Baby  is one of the lesser known frozen, organic options. They have freshly frozen organic vegetables in easy-to-carry packets. This is a great option for parents on the go!
