Mulch Mat Tips
- Give your mulch mat a quarter turn every month to prevent the toughest weeds from finding a way to grow through.
- When installing a mulch mat, leave the mat on the area you want it to be for 30 minutes, then remove. It should leave an indentation of where it was. Dig out any sod, grass, or loose dirt around the tree. Flatten the area, then replace the mat at the base of the tree.
