Available in the market are five basic types of helmets suitable for motorcycling. All types are fastened by a gear will reduce its protection capacity if this strap is not firmly fastened. It is therefore encouraged to be worn in a snug fit standard for better protective performance.
*vents for increased airflow to the driver.
*chin bar. The chin bar may be removed or moved upward thus allowing drivers to drink, eat, or talk without removing the helmet from the head.
*visors to lessen glare from sunlight. This helmet offers less protection over the face from bugs, dust and wind.
*goggles. The visor keeps the sun out from the eyes of the driver, and when worn with goggles has the same protection capability as a full face helmet.
*shorty helmet, this model has a similar design as an open face style but has a raised rear. Because of its design the helmet is prone to shifting, and may come off from the drivers head during an accident.
