If you're perusing this guide for turn signals on your motorcycle or ATV. Here's how you can replace them yourself: * You'll need a measuring tape. * Take apart the lower fairing to expose the wires. * The necessary wires will be situated in the front or the rear of your motorcycle or ATV. Even though they are commonly below the seat, you might need to dismantle the tail piece to access them if they are located there. * The wires are color coded and are pretty easy to disconnect. If they are not color coded, that's where the color coded tape comes in. If they are connected to a box, you can just disconnect the male and female ends. * Use the turn signals will slide right out. * The wires on the new signals will have to be routed through a rubber grommet and should be directed where the previous wires were located. * Now the new signals can slide right in. * Connecting the wires should be fairly easy. * If you have a box connector but the new signals don't, the new wires will have to be soldered to the old ones. * Turn on the power to makes sure you did a decent job!
