Men's Dress Shoes

Nothing pulls a suit together like a good pair of dress shoes  Shoes can also pull your look apart if they are not the right color or style for your attire, so it is best to always have an outfit in mind when you buy shoes.  Think of the color of your suits and pants and how often the shoes will match.

Types of Dress Shoes

Oxfords

Oxfords are the typical, plain dress shoe.  This is why they are perfect for formal affairs and business.

Loafers

Loafers are slip-on shoes that can be worn with a wide variety of attire.  They are even worn with jeans sometimes.

Monk Strap

Very similar to loafers, except monk strap shoes actually tighten with a belt buckle.

Wing Tips

These shoes are much like Oxfords except they feature a toe cap that comes to a point at the center and spreads out on the sides of the shoe.

Appropriate Shoes for Pants Styles

Khaki Pants

  • Wear khakis with martin  loafers for a classic style.
  • For a preppy look, wear slick penny loafers.
  • To get a casual summer look, try a pair of woven or moccasin  style loafers.

  • Monk strap shoes create a more European style

Suits

  • Always have a plain pair of black leather Oxfords to wear with your suits.
