Products

Even if Italian food isn't your thing, Batali has plenty of kitchen and grill items that are useful for any style of cooking: * Batali and Vic Firth, a drum stick producer, teamed up to create custom kitchen tools. Together they designed a line of rolling pins. * Chef Batali's ravioli cutting tool is the perfect addition to any kitchen. It has dual wheels and a soft grip and a contoured handle. Both combine for controlled comfort use.  One blade is for cutting and one for crimping. The Ravioli Skimmer is also a 'must have' gadget. * Mario has a multitude of items in his product line. There are sauces, gadgets and food. * Mario Batali's pasta sauces are made from Italian plum tomatoes, fresh chopped onions and garlic and contain no pastes or purees.  They are produced at his Summer Garden Foods' Green Facility. His sauce line consists of Arrabiata. * The traditional Italian method of cooking, Piastra, is the method of cooking in which a stone is placed over a hot fire.  Mario Batali designed a version that's made of granite. It conducts heat similarly to cast iron. It can be used for grilling on one side and barbecuing on the other.
