Fonda began her career as a famous model (she graced the cover of Vogue twice) and didn't become interested in acting until 1954 when she performed in a charity performance of ''The Country Girl'' with her father. Although many people know her more for her acting than her modeling, Fonda was once considered to be a leading model in her time.
