Indoor Christmas Decorations
The tree is the decorative center of the home at Christmastime, but that doesn't mean the rest of your house should be free of good cheer. There are plenty of ways to brighten up your home during the holiday season. For some tips on general wintery decor, check out the buying guide on winter decorating. If you're looking for tips on a specifically Christmas-oriented décor, you've come to the right place.

The easiest way to plan your decorations is to pick a color scheme and use it in varying ways throughout your home. For example, if you decide on a green and gold theme, you can do one room mostly green with gold, another mostly gold with green, and others with varying amounts of each or only one Windowbox Decorations color. You could search for lots of different objects and decorations in the same color, but if you find one you like, buy several! This will keep the theme from room to room and on your tree.
Another idea is to buy a number of rolls of ribbon in your designated color scheme, in varying widths. You can use these everywhere for a quick colorful accent -- around the tree, over doors, tied as a bow as part of a centerpiece, and even as napkin rings on your dinner table. |
