Another fascinating fact regarding Peyton is his cultivated sibling rivalry between him and another star NFL quarterback, Eli Manning--current starting quarterback for the New York Giants. Peyton comes from a family of highly talented football players and was second in his family to play in the NFL. His father, Archie Manning, played for the New Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Vikings while older brother Cooper Manning (perhaps even more talented than Peyton) was diagnosed with a debilitating spinal disease after college and never made it to the NFL.
