How to Blow Out Hair
A great blow out can last for days. Somehow the stylists at the salon always know how to do it just right so all the frizzies stay down and hair comes out smooth and shiny. Unfortunately, it's a bit trickier to get it done the same way at home. However, with a few key steps you should be able to get the process under control! If all else fails, check out the book on How to Blow Dry Your Hair
.
Process
- First you'll want to start out with clean, damp hair. It's easiest to take a shower with your favorite shampoo and conditioner and then give your hair a good towel dry. Don't start blow drying until you get the excess water off--otherwise, it'll just make your task harder and more time consuming!
- Next, create a game plan. It helps to dry hair in sections, especially if you have a lot of hair. Grab some big hair clips
to pull back the extra and start working on each section, one at a time.
- With each section you'll want to pull hair out from the roots with your finger tips. Pull it taught and dry the roots first.
- After you have all of your roots dry, take a big round brush and pull each section out as you continue drying to the ends.
- Finally, when it's all dry give a blast of cold air to set your look in place!
