A brown, or wooden colored finish. Since anything that belongs in a child's room must be built with a little more precaution, all convertible cribs should not have any sharp/rough metal edges. Any locks which hold the crib closed should work properly to prevent the door from accidentally falling open with an infant inside, and there should be no stripping paint that is able to come off in pieces. Thankfully, usually convertible cribs just have an enamel finish.
Once you have your convertible crib, you will also need boy, to fit over the mattress in the crib.
