Just because it's Christmas doesn't mean you can't cheer on your favorite team. Yes, I know you have to remove Grandma's homemade Christmas heirloom because it no longer has space on the tree but it's okay because she can barely see anyway. Christmas just won't be complete unless you put your team colors somewhere. Feel free to keep your classic Christmas ornaments with glitter and tinsel made with green and red, but amidst all the sugary sweet, happyy.

Ball ornaments just look classic. For any racing fans, there are NASCAR ornaments with Dale Earnhardt's signature on them that would be a perfect holiday surprise. If you want something less specific to a team, but just the sport in general you can find ornaments shaped like golf balls, basket balls, soccer balls, and bowling balls. These ornaments are primarily made of plastic or glass. They're a little bit less noticeable than the specialty ones, aside from the patterns that signify the sport.
Specialty Shaped Ornaments
From something as basic as a mini replica of Fenway Park to something as weird as a Red Sox Nutcracker, you can find both classy and quirky Christmas ornaments to hang from your tree. Many are football wielding snowmen or baseball gloves and bats, but it isn't limited to the "American pastime" type sports. There are also Christmas ornaments for bowling, sailing, karate, horse racing, fishing, hunting, rowing, surfing, and many more. A lot of the bowling ornaments feature snowman of some sort, so they're kinda cutesy. If you want something more humorous, get the surfing and fishing ornaments. They usually have Santa Claus in a bathing suit, sunglasses, with his belly hanging out. That's not to say it's the most classy, but it will surely get a few chuckles once everybody has tried some of your eggnog. Depending on your level of Christmas spirit you may decide to buy a homemade or small business made ornament instead of one with the official seal of the sports association. There are just so many different options that you'll have to go through your choices individually.
