A great activity that will fill your head space as you impatiently wait for your exciting arrival, is to decorate your rocking chair to lay out... It's easy to get carried away. Ideally, you want a room that will be inviting and easy to get around at all hours of the day and night.
A Nursery That Matches
Most finished wood or white painted wood materials, which can be easily matched to the woods of your wall fixtures, dresser, and changing table. For a clean, uncluttered feel to your nursery, you'll want to light woods and paint to make up the majority of the items in the room. Painting colors should stick to light yellows, greens, blues, pinks or purples. A deep red baby room, while not harmful, would be very unusual and make a room darker than preferable. You'll also want to make sure you have enough shelving that you can tuck away toys and books from the floor.
The Changing Table
While not the most glamorous aspect of your design scheme, the changing table will be a key component of your baby's nursery. Parents seem to prefer a changing table that allows a baby to face their parent. It's extra helpful if the table provides height adjustable.
