Performance Snow Tires - Most designs are Q-, S- or T- rated
- Performance snow tires are available for more responsive snow tires
- Almost all performance winter tires are H-rated but a few V-rated are available
- Winter performance tires in sizes up to 18 in wheel diameters, cross section widths up to 285 mm and profiles as low as 40 series are available.

- Summer versions are the fastest but cannot be used in winter conditions
- Must be willing to forgo a warranty entirely
- Wheel sizes range from 16 to 20 inches
