So you want to dye your hair and you'd like to do it with some ingredients that are more natural rather than scary chemical. You've heard some mixed things about lawsonia inermis and do a strand test before dying your whole head.
Does Henna come in a range of colors?
If you're using a brunette hair dye you should look for henna dyes that are combined with ONLY other plant extracts:
* If you're looking to go blond, unfortunately, natural dye isn't your strongest choice. Natural dyes that contain indigo. Beware of any product called "black henna" here because it contains neither henna, nor indigo, but rather PPD, which is quite bad for your hair.
* Finally, for brunettes, use a dye that combines with walnuts or catchetu tannins.
