Green Bay Packers Merchandise

One of the longest running and most successful teams in the NFL, the Green Bay Packers form quite a revered and formidable football squad. Representing the state of Wisconsin, the Packers have carved themselves a path of victory in the football world by capturing twelve championship titles--more than any other team in the National Football League--including three Super Bowls since the tournament's inception in 1967. In an effort to pay homage to the early aged theme of "small-town football," the Packers are the only professional sports team in the US to be owned by the community as a non-profit organization. This venerable and admired football establishment has a foundation of followers as durable as the team itself: Wisconsin families (and in other locations) pride themselves in standing by this inspirational team through the generations. As a highly successful team, the Packers have developed a fan base around the country in addition to this aficionado foundation, but Green Bay continues to inspire a community feel that encourages family enjoyment. If you haven't already caught the fever, read on to see how you can join in the Green Bay 'rush.' First stop, authentic Cheesehead Hats  for the whole family!

Family Fun

The Packers have certainly made it easy (and attractive!) to partake in the Green Bay spirit. With all the different types of merchandise floating around, you're bound to find something enjoyable for each member of the family, whether it's at the game, on the couch at home, or anywhere else for that matter. Even Grandpa will throw on his Packers hat  and tag along on game day!

For Daddy-O

As the head of the family, you have to set an example that your wife and kiddies will want to follow. By sporting the right gear, your family will find the green and gold irresistible and want to copy your suave (and perhaps maniacal at times) style. Be prepared to open your heart (and your wallet), Pops!

  • The most effective way of voicing your team support through the art of fashion is by utilizing a team jersey  (and it doesn't need to be "authentic" to still be authentically awesome!). Although these shirts are best for those who esteem a particular player, you can also obtain a jersey sporting the Packers logo with your own name on the back.
  • Show your family that it's cool to stay warm, especially if you do it in style. There are plenty of great sweatshirts  and jackets  in all different colors and cuts: you'll be sure to find something up to your standards. However, be careful when you break out the leather Super Bowl jacket --your kids might not be too fond of hanging out with Daddy at the tailgate.
  • Chillin' when you're grillin': admitting that you'll be spending all season long next to your grill (when you're not at a friend's tailgate) is the first step to accepting your barbecuing obsession. The next step is to shower your grill with the same affections you give your wardrobe--by clothing it in the green and gold! Get the Green Bay grill cover  and you'll never be separated from your team, even in your own backyard.
  • Everyone hates a rainy game, but don't let the weather get you down! Get an official Packers Poncho  for each member of the family and the whole clan will stay high and dry no matter how wet it gets.

Mommy Dearest

For the fashion queen of the house, Mommy takes her apparel seriously. It's a good thing that Green Bay takes their clothing line seriously as well! With all the trendy styles and garments to choose from, you'll never have a problem with switching from Prada to Packers.

  • Your t-shirt drawer will be stuffed with the green and gold after this round of online shopping! Get a shirt in every style: vintage tees tank tops long sleeves scoop necks and much more.
  • Victoria Secret has nothing on these PJ's! Display your passion even while you sleep by obtaining a pair of comfy pajama pants  or shorts Complete your snoozing outfit with a matching top and your dreams will be as sweet as that chocolate truffle you had for dessert!
  • Let your sweetheart buy you a comfy Packers fleece  for the winter months (without too much prodding from yourself) and get a warm, fuzzy feeling both inside and out! Other options for the cold weather include the all-encompassing (yet still sleek) parka a youth-inducing sweatshirt or a quilted, satin jacket However, a word to the wise: wear the satin jacket with caution!  Not everyone can pass off this tricky look.
  • Feel the need to get some bling? Get a hold of these silver bangles  and add some spark back to your relationship... with the Packers!

For Baby Hewie

When Papa says that football is a family activity, he really means it! Everyone gets decked out for the big game, even baby Hewie--even if he (or she) is too young to know the difference, you know that you will. Just don't get too upset if Hewie's childhood talents don't include playing quarterback!

  • When it comes to the really little ones, keep them wrapped in love, affection, and a Green Bay bodysuit And make sure those tootsies stay toasty with matching green and gold bootie socks
  • If Hewie is at that stage where everything he does needs to emulate Daddy, don't disappoint him! When Daddy puts on the green and gold, the little man can look just as smart in his matching shorts and shirt For the chillier evenings, have Hewie don a 3-piece suit that will keep in the heat and keep out the cold.
  • And for baby Hewette, there's always the snazzy cheerleader outfit  to dazzle all the guests and fellow fans. But be careful, Momma: she's too young to try out for the Packerettes!
  • Even babies like to accessorize! Give the kiddies what they really want for Christmas (besides their two front teeth), like a stuffed animal  or a bib and bottle gift set

Safety Tips

It's always a challenge taking the whole family to the game, but one that you're glad to accept for the greater enjoyment of everyone there. However, it never hurts to go over rules of safety and precaution with each member of the family beforehand. The stadium can be quite overwhelming, so keep in mind a few of these key elements.

  • Stay together: When you're toting a little one with you, make sure that he/she knows that the stadium is not a playground. While football is one of the most entertaining pastimes in the country, game-time can get pretty messy so be firm in encouraging your kid/s to hold hand with you and always stay in sight of Mommy and Daddy.
  • Keep warm: If it's inching towards the winter season and you're going stadium-ho, have everyone bundle up in their warm clothes and bring blankets  with you (the seats can get cold!). It's much better to prepare for worse weather than to get hit unsuspected, especially if you have your kids with you. You can also take a backpack  with you to store the necessities, but leave some extra room in case you or your family need to take off the extra layers: you don't want to be forced to hold everyone's jackets, right?
  • Stay hydrated: If you get hit with an Indian summer day, don't let the the excitement cloud your other senses. Make sure everyone stays hydrated (and not just with beer!), especially the kids. You won't be able to bring your own beverages into the stadium, but bottled water is sold every 5 yards.
  • Remain alert: Stadiums contain a very diverse group of people and you never know what will happen. For the guys: keep your wallet in your front pocket so that pick-pockets will only grab a hold of those buns of steel, and not your wad of cash and credit cards. For the ladies: if you need to take your purse along, make sure it's on you at all times or deep inside a bag that is within your sight during the game.
  • Parking: Remember where you park! Your family might have the cranky bug after the game, and nothing is more aggravating than wandering around looking for your car (I swear it was in section E!).
