Goth Makeup
There's an art to perfecting the Goth
look. After all, it's a special person who can pull off looking dark, yet pretty, all at one time. With such a specific look, you'll want to think of your individual tastes first. There are, of course, the basics--but do you want to look edgy or soft? Extreme or mellow? Consider your comfort levels and keep those in mind when choosing any makeup. If all else fails, grab a goth makeup kit
and try out a few different products to see what looks best on you.
Eyes
|
For your eyes, you'll want to have plenty of black eyeliner and mascara on hand. Here's one easy method for application.
1. Take black eyeliner and go around the entire outside of your lashes in a thick line.
2. Do a second coat to make the outline more bold. Add sweeping lines at the side for a more extreme look.
3. Grab a dark purple ,blue or black eyeshadow . Follow your eyeliner strokes but continue to widen them until you have a colorful enough look.
4. Generously cover your lashes in black mascara .
5. If you'd like to get a little more creative, take your liquid eyeliner and draw patterns along the sides of your eyes (right above your cheekbones). |
Lips
Again, with lips it depends on your individual preference. The best thing to do is to try a few different colors to see which matches your skin tone best. Here's a few different types of lipstick that work well for different Goth looks: - White Lipstick
: It's difficult to find white lipstick, but Dior makes a pretty decent shade.
