Gin

Gin  is a juniper berry flavored grain alcohol that is typically used in mixed drinks. It is important to know that the juniper is not really a berry at all, but a pine cone with tiny fleshy scales that give it the appearance of a berry.  Gin is flavored with fully grown, but immature green berries to give the drink a distinctive, pine-fresh taste with a citrus note.
