First Aid shampoos and rinses are a good line of defense when you are exposed daily to unsuspected viruses, bacteria and fungus. Schools, daycares and even children's sleepovers or overnight slumber parties are faced with this dilemma. Anywhere you are in consistent contact with a large group of people the possibilities are likely that you will be a subjected to. Granted you might not need to use them very often but it's a great feeling to know there are first aid shampoo products readily available when you do.
When Treatment is Necessary
Most often when we think of herbal ringworm treatment and is readily available over the counter at your pharmacy. If you prefer to create your own mix, you have the option of purchasing tea tree oil extracts and making your own shampoo. Washing clothes and linens using hot water and using high heat can eradicate body lice. Depending on the severity of the louse infestation more combative treatment may deem necessary.
