How Do Insect Repelling Wrist Bands Work?
The vapors from the wristband form a protective shield around the area where it is worn. Most wear the band around the wrist, but don't let that stop you from using hooking it on your bag, pet collars, or using it as an anklet. Most bands are adjustable for various sized wrists, some even small and gentle enough to put around a baby's wrist.
Many sprays and lotions can lose its potency after contact with
water or perspiration, but wrist bands can still maintain its potency for its intended duration. (Different brands will have different hours of effectiveness once out of the bag.)
