Insect Repelling Wrist Bands and Bracelets

Scientists estimate that there are over 200 million insects for every living human on Earth. Of those insects, many are vital to the continuation of our ecosystem, but many more spread deadly diseases or simply annoy us to no end. We're going to need a loooooot of bug spray. Or do we? For years, we humans have doused ourselves with candles. Some solutions were completely ineffective, while others, though effective, has many concerned about the toxic effects of the chemicals on the human body, out clothing, and the environment. If only there was an effective bug repelling solution that was less intrusive, less messy, easily portable, and possibly fashionable. The answer: insect repellent wrist bands (or bracelets if you prefer.)

How Do Insect Repelling Wrist Bands Work?

The vapors from the wristband form a protective shield around the area where it is worn. Most wear the band around the wrist, but don't let that stop you from using hooking it on your bag, pet collars, or using it as an anklet. Most bands are adjustable for various sized wrists, some even small and gentle enough to put around a baby's wrist. Many sprays and lotions can lose its potency after contact with water or perspiration, but wrist bands can still maintain its potency for its intended duration. (Different brands will have different hours of effectiveness once out of the bag.) Many brands claim to be citronella. In either case, the design of this repellent eliminates or reduces clothing stains and body reactions.
