The reason you take a photo of something and it shows up as a different color is because most light is part of the visible color spectrum. Different heat levels and wavelengths of light produce different color tints. Even though we don't normally detect it so strongly with our own eyes we can see that certain lights emanate a "shade of light or dark in the finished product.
