Noir is definitely a genre that lends itself to imitation, so it makes a great deal of sense that a series of spoofs and parodies started to emerge as early as 1945; the hard boiled heroes and femme fatales make easy targets for lampooning. Simply recast the hardened detective as a baby photographer mistaken for a hardened detective: hilarity ensues. This is, of course, a broad example, and there are of course many, many things to mimic and imitate to hilarious effect in noir films, particularly their oppressive tones of gloom and doom. Whether you're looking for a clever, funny spin on a crime film, or a flat out spoof, look no further.
