Facial Cleansers For Men
The old bar soap is great for the bod, but not so hot for your face. Remember that your face is what people see first when meeting and that it will leave an impression so it's best it be a good one. If you want to have less irritation and better looking skin, pick something formulated for your face and your skin type (see recommendations below). When in doubt, pick something that is made "for men". That assures you that the pH is better suited to your needs as a man (in other words, avoid your girlfriend's frilly face foam because it won't help). Like choosing facial moisturizer
- Dry and sensitive skin -- Avoid menthol, camphor, fragrances, and alcohol, unless you want to dry out your skin even more. Look for cleansers that have moisturizing agents in them such as aloe. Organics are always a safe bet if you can get your hands on them and don't mind spending a little more cash. They will guarantee less irritation from chemicals. If you experience flaking, try a scrub at least once a week to help slough off the dead skin. Don't forget to use a moisturizer

- Oily and acne-prone skin -- Choose an exfoliating BHA that is oil-free and non-comodegenic (non pore-clogging). You want something that rinses clean (i.e. no bar soap that dries and leaves a film). Medicated washes that contain benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid are good to fight acne, but salicylic should be used on healing blemishes and the benzoyl peroxide as soon as you get a breakout.
