How to Polish and Wax Your Car
Now that you have your kit, it's time for that gorgeous shine.
* '''Always'''
wash and dry your car first before you polish or wax it to remove grime and dirt.
* Wash, polish, and wax your car in the shade.
* Apply a small amount of polish to a dampened
polishing cloth and rub in a circular motion.
** If you are using a polisher, start on a low setting, spreading the polish in small areas using left and right strokes.
* Let the polish dry and then wipe off with a dry cloth. Then move onto the next section of your car.
* Now we're ready to wax. Apply the wax to a damp
sponge and work in circular motions just like the polish.
* Mr. Miyagi wasn't lying with the "wax on, wax off" technique.
* Cover the entire car and by the time you finish, the first section should now be dry.
* Wipe off the wax with a
microfiber towel or a cloth towel.
* Use several towels to ensure you are not putting wax back on the car and go over the entire car twice to make sure all wax is off.
* Now stare in awe at the ultra shininess of your car!
