Pet Costume Tips

Here are a few tips that will benefit you and your animal's experience.

  • Make sure your pet can see and breathe easily. Never make an animal wear a mask.
  • Check the fit around your pet's neckline.  If it is too tight it will cause discomfort.
  • A costume should not drag on the floor.
  • Don't use costumes with beads or small objects that could be choking hazards.
  • Never leave your dressed-up pet unattended.
  • If your dog or cat doesn't like the idea of being dressed up in a costume, scrap the idea and try a Halloween print bandanna .
  • It's best to leave your furry friends at home while trick-or-treating so they don't get frightened by all those kids running around. Instead, take them to a Halloween party for animals!
