Cookware Racks

Where on earth am I going to fit this lovely new set of All-Clad pots and pans you ask? Save the space in the cabinets and opt for a rack where you can hang your new set of pots and pans. It keeps them at arm's length for quick retrieval while cooking, not to mention that they help make room so that you use the cabinets to store other appliances that you use less frequently. Another added bonus of using a rack instead of the conventional cabinet or even a slide out drawer is that it will keep your pots and pans virtually scratch free and protect any non-stick coatings they may have.

Rack Placement

Be sure not to hang a rack directly over where you cook. Pots and pans will accumulate grease, which is not only unsightly, but also a health hazard. Make sure that the rack will make the pots and pans close enough to reach, but not so close that you hit your head on them.  Iron Accents has some information on how and where to install your new rack.
