Can Openers
The can opener was invented after the metal can was introduced and used by the British army in the mid-1800s. Over the years it has undergone a significant transformation, and nowadays it has more features than anyone in the 1800s could have imagined. It come in four styles, several designs and colors, and is multi-functional. And, if you should happen to need a can opener for camping, you might think about the pocket-sized GI can opener.
Word to the Wise
For cordless models, be wary about battery life and the ease of replacing batteries, as some models, as cute and compact as they may seem, may cause more hassle in the long run. Also be aware of "as seen on television" models that feature some new and inventive way of opening cans. After all, you just want to open a can.
