Konica Minolta is a merger of the two Japanese camera companies, Konica and Minolta. They originally specialized in photography but have closed down that portion of the business to focus primarily on medical imagining and business technology. That being said, however, you can still find plenty of cameras and accessories, there just won't be newer models.
Cameras
Konica Minolta offers both film and digital cameras for consumers. If you want a camera just for the sake of taking family photos, you should probably go with the simpler models. For taking quick photos during your vacation, you may want to look into one of their panoramic cameras. They have builteye to telephoto. In other words, you have more freedom in your photography. Kinoca Minolta SLRs are lightweight cameras and there are cases available to help transport them. The best part about the more professional cameras is that you can adjust your focus, exposure and other factors manually.
Camera Accessories
Konica Minolta accessories include things like camera cases, replacement lithium ion batteries, lens and lens cases, flashes, chargers, and connecting cables. First and foremost, if you own a Konica Minolta camera, chances are it's already a few years old. That being said, have you noticed a decrease in the amount of time your battery lasts? While we all love using the pieces that came with our camera, we also have to be willing to admit defeat. Every now and then things need replacement, love 'em or not. It may be time to look for a new battery or charger. For uploading photos you should have a USB cable. Things like lenses and flashes are addon to the top of your camera. You can tilt it up and down to adjust where you want to aim the light as well.
Digital Imaging, Photo Printing and More
Konica Minolta is also known for its photo and printing products, too, and has actually continued this even after canceling their camera line. These products include things like toner. You can buy their toner in black, yellow, cyan, and magenta. They also offer them as packs where you can get all tones. There are also film scanners which come in handy for replicating and storing images and are great for both new users and professionals. You can even use their glossy photo paper to make hard copies of the photos you take.
