Calipers are tools or devices that are used to measure the distance of things. They are used in a lot of trade work, such as measuring tools because they are easy to use, can be used to measure all types of objects and can even take measurements of the inside or outside of the object.
Types of Calipers
There are three main types of calipers: electronic digital calipers.
* Vernier calipers have a scale on them that takes measurements in imperial and heavy duty calipers.
* Dial calipers have a small dial on them that uses a pointer to indicate the measurement.
* Finally, an electronic digital caliper is one that has no scales printed on it and instead has an LCD screen that displays the measurement in a digital format.
