Bird Cage Accessories

You can't let your bird live in an empty cage. That's like having a house without any furniture and never being able to leave. You'd be really bored, right? Treat your bird properly and stock that cage with an entertaining diversity of perches, toys, and places for food. The cage can't be so full that your bird can't fly around and live happily, though.

Don't worry, these accessories come in all the varieties and usually cost under $5  or $10.  Such a small investment for so much joy with your pet. This also means you can afford to replace them when they get when they get worn out.

Perches

Your bird will need somewhere to stand and several of these, of different lengths, from many angles, make for an exciting cage. This is where you get to decorate. Have a blast.

Classic Perches  Also available with pedicure  texture to trim nails. Or natural fibers  for a bit of nibbling.	Swing  Hang from the roof of the cage and let your birdy go play Tarzan any time it wants. Some come with toys , streamers, or bells attached. So much fun! Toys

Toys  are your bird's main form of intellectual and physical stimulation. Stuck in a cage all day is a sad place to be if you don't have something to play with. Give them lots of colorful, interesting, and versatile options. Some hang from the roof  of the cage. Some lie on the bottom  until your bird picks them up. Some stick to the wall.  Some are embedded in treats.  Get some with bells,  loops,  feathers,  fuzzies,  or lights.

For Food

You've got to feed your bird something. And you've got to put that food and somewhere. Anything is fine here, as long as your bird will eat out of it.

Dishes  and Cups  Suction to the side of the cage or hangs on bars for easy access.	Feeders  These mount on the cage and hold an added supply for food so you don't have to refill as much.	With Mirror  and Toys  Make meal time a little more fun with some attached entertainment.	Seed Catchers  Keep your cage slightly neater by having a little cup below the food dish to keep the hulls of your bird's seed.
