Automotive Refrigerant Hoses

Your hose!

Refilling Air Conditioner

Okay, so maybe your lack of A/C when it gets hot is not your fault for being mean to your refrigerant. Here's how you can fix that problem: * Buy some refrigerant that is 134A. * You really can't get the refrigerant into your car if you don't pop open the hood first, so make sure you do that. * After the hood is popped, find a black "big top" with the letter C on top of its cap. * Take the cap off. * Now, turn on your car. Don't worry, this action will not make it explode. Just do that so that you can blast the A/C. * This is when you're going to need the refrigerant container and another to the hole made by the removal of the C cap. * Turn the container of refrigerant over and let your car drink it in. * Don't forget to take the hose off and put the cap back on. You should probably un-pop the hood, too. * You might need to use several containers of refrigerant in order to get your A/C system to regain its confidence in pumping out cool air. * The moment you get into your car to turn it off, you will find that the car has a considerably cool interior. Good work!
